Dr. Xen is an alumnus of the University of Florida and New York University College of Dentistry. She worked all along the east coast of Florida before opening Dax Dental in 2016. It was her vision to create a space where she could provide honest, hardworking people a place where they feel they are truly getting the best care.

Empowering you was always my focus, self-love is the answer, and seeing your growth and improvement has brought me so much joy. Through you every day was an adventure. Your stories were beautiful, funny, and tragic, but beautiful. Sharing countless weekends and celebrating holidays together, thank you for showing up. Thank you for jamming to Taylor and Billy Joel with me, for sharing all your wisdom with me, and for listening to my off-key country singing without complaining. I want to thank everyone who believed in me, who came through on the rainiest days, who gave this small-town Hawaiian girl a chance to do what I love. To Jess, RDA and RDH I’m nothing without you. Dentistry is the only love that never broke my heart.
I’m just a fisherman’s daughter, living the American dream, and what a Dream it has been! I am overwhelmed and in tears with gratitude, because I’m currently torn, between being present with my young family who needs my care and caring for my Dax family who have been so supportive and understanding. But “Sometimes the right thing and the hardest thing is the same” and I realized that I can no longer put Dax and all my patients first. I’ve been looking for Dr. Koumani for the longest time!
I’ve been so blessed to find Dr. Wissam Kamouni, I trust him and know he will take great care of Dax and our patients. He will put you first. A graduate from University of Western Ontario, he now has more than 20 years’ experience. He practiced dentistry in Windsor Ontario for 15 years until he moved to Michigan. He then practiced in East Lansing for 7 years until he decided to move to Florida. He had to go through the rigorous examination and is now boarded in the state of Florida. During his journey, Dr. Kamouni made sure he was progressive in developing his skills in all aspects of dentistry. He is very knowledgeable in dental implants, wisdom teeth extractions, root canal therapy, veneers, and crowns to mention a few. Above all, his patients have known him to be very personable and has great bedside manners. He is also known for his gentle touch and treats his patients very fairly. Dr Kamouni is my family and personal dentist and I highly recommend him for you and your loved ones.
